Vision

Mankind has to find sustainable sources to satisfy it's energy needs. Fossil fuels need to be phased out due to their detrimental environmental effects and limited supply. Short-term supply/demand imbalances and related price movements can not hide this fact.

ECP believe that energy production from biomass has a major role to play in this energy transition. Biomass has several advantages mainly due to the better adaptability of production to demand when compared to wind power. Solar is the ultimate source of all our energy. Also, technology has now developed far enough to offer a stable platform for implementation.

Mission

ECP want to contribute to a sustainable energy supply by developing and financing promising biomass & solar projects. These projects are not limited to specific technologies. However, the technology we invest in should be proven or close to commercialisation. ECP do not engage in fundamental Research and Development.
